Elevator wait times were maddening! ! Room cleanliness left much to be desired! The sheer noise from the surrounding rooms was a constant bother, not a great environment for resting! Please consider improving these areas!

During my recent business stay, the Grand Hyatt provided an excellent experience. The King Bay View room was immaculate and offered stunning views of the harbor. The staff were professional and attentive, assisting with my conference needs efficiently. The location is optimal, with easy access to the Gaslamp Quarter for dining and entertainment after meetings.
The only downside was the unexpected destination fee at checkout.

would definitely come back here
The corner room had breathtaking views of the bay with three large windows. Loved the comfy king-sized bed and the private bathroom had fresh toiletries and a hairdryer. The breakfast was awesome with custom omelets. The fitness center was well-equipped. Sun loungers by the pool were perfect for relaxation after a long day exploring.

I've got to say, the views from my room at the Hyatt were stunning, probably the highlight of my stay. The floor-to-ceiling windows allowed me to soak in the gorgeous bay views every morning. The location couldn't be better — just a short walk to Gaslamp Quarter and Seaport Village. The staff made me feel welcome and were super helpful with my requests. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room, too. On the downside, the elevators were painfully slow, especially during peak hours, which made getting around a real hassle. The bathroom needed better ventilation. it felt a bit cramped, and one of the sinks was clogged when I arrived despite the prompt service that followed. I had high expectations for the dining options based on reviews, but I found some of the menus a bit overpriced and limited. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but the choices felt repetitive after a couple of days. Would consider staying again for the view and location, but those elevator waits really need to improve.

The dining scene at Grand Hyatt is a culinary lover's dream! Their Manchego ratatouille was an absolute showstopper, bursting with flavor and creative flair. Plus, the location is unbeatable, just a hop away from excellent spots like Brew30 California Taps and Eddie V's Prime Seafood. The heated pool is perfect for a dip, and the staff is genuinely friendly—making you feel right at home in sunny San Diego.
Unfortunately, one of the most terrible hotel experiences we ever had. Despite the gorgeous views and ambiance, we had some hiccups during our stay. The noise from neighboring rooms was relentless, and dirty towels were a major bummer.

Super comfy stay!
Had a solid time at this hotel! The location by the bay is awesome, only a short walk to the convention center. The staff were super friendly and even let us check in early, which was a nice surprise. The gym was a hit, but the shower was kinda hard to figure out with the water pressure being so quirky.

I loved the location and how spotless everything was. The rooftop had potential, but good luck finding a staff member to show us around! Overall, nice vibes.
But goodness, those elevators took longer than my last relationship! The waiting was a real test of patience.
